Abstract
The paper explores the nexus between the dynamism of technological innovation and the preparedness of institutions in offering seamless information services to patrons. The trend in the use of information technology as a lifestyle and its consequences is set in determining digital competencies that both the providers and users of information now need. Training, advocacy, infrastructural development, budget, and disaster preparedness are discussed as critical areas that libraries and institutions must consider in building digital resilience.
