Creating a Demonstrator National Open Repository for Nigeria

Abstract

The working paper provides an overview of the steps taking so far in creating a signature national open repository for Nigeria where all institutional repositories would be connected to and providing federated search platform. Issues of capacity building, steps to be taken and the status of institutional repositories in the country are presented and discussed with supporting data and maps.
